Based in Tianjin, China, Jianjun is a NAETI-certified (2003) English – Chinese translator, web localization specialist and cultural consultant.

Jianjun has been working as a full-time professional translator for over 10 years. Before becoming a freelancer in 1997, he had been working at Long Shun Rong Pharmaceuticals since 1991 taking several QA/GMP management and translation positions.

Jianjun founded Yeasir Translations (originally iTranslate.cn) in 2004, providing business services to the international community. The most notable web sites he helped localized into Chinese (Simplified or Traditional Chinese) include: CLS Communications, Last.fm, XING, Lingoneer, MiniClip, Swatch, Megavideo, Megaupload, Sescoi, Best Trading, International Lodging Association, WordFast…

Jianjun has also been helping fellow translators who are based in China start/improve their own businesses since a few years ago and has been actively helping peers solve web server and financial problems through many translator communities.

Jianjun (Yeasir Translations) is a Zone Partner of Web 2.0 localization company Beluga Linguistics, and is one of the top-rated translators (rated 9.86 out of a full score of 10) at Applied Language Solutions (ALS) and was selected to be featured among other 8 translators on ALS web site.

In 2008, Jianjun started another long-term business relationship with a luxury real estate company in the US to work on their Chinese blog. The job includes translation, localization, business consulting and branding. The task is challenging but Jianjun and Yeasir Translations are optimistic and will turn the project into another success in the near future.
