I've been testing a number of multi caller webcam services and not had much luck. Sightspeed seems to have the best reviews and I really like the fact you can have up to 9 people live at one time. I signed up for their corporate account for $150 a month. Their video is great. Nice and clear. It helps to have everyone on headsets. We've given up on trying to use the sound via the speakers as we tend to get a lot of echo. We use a FreeConference line in combination with the video. That way I can have everyone get on the conference line while we try and get everyone hooked in on the Sightspeed video call. We've tried several times now and have yet to get everyone in on the call. Its not as simple as it should be. I looked at ooVoo initially but opted for Sightspeed. Now I'm going to go back and check out ooVoo. I really like that I can record calls. That could be handy for our CEO interviews on Online Personals Watch and Social Networking Watch. So, if you see ooVoo calls ont their in the next couple of months you'll know we opted for ooVoo. Otherwise we're still working with Sightspeed.

I have just downloaded oovoo today. So far not too bad except for the video effects. I downloaded them and they wont load. I even uninstalled them and oovoo and reinstalled them. Still no luck. Could you please help me figure out why and how to fix them?

Great review! I work on behalf of ooVoo and wanted to thank you for pointing out the good and bad about the free video chat service. It is always great to get imput on what features people find useful and what needs improvement. If you find more areas of improvement for ooVoo go to support.oovoo.com and let us know. Customer support and product development work together to better ooVoo from suggestions given. Let me know if you need anything else answered!
